Students are Lazy, We know that!

It is common knowledge that college students are inherently lazy. It seems that they have the ability to buy or sell their textbooks online but continue to act against their best interests. If they buy books online, they save tons of money. Now, several students buy their books online but compared to the total amount of college students out there, this is surprisingly a small percentage of students. The percentage of students who end up selling their books back online is an even lesser percentage. You might say, wait, how come I find people selling books on other sites? Well, that's true, but you might find that a handful of people are selling the book you need at decent prices. What if everyone who used that textbook you need decided to sell it online? That would create a flood of books and you would most likely find the book you need. Unfortunately, schools nowadays are requiring that students purchase the most current edition of the book which might not be offered by other students who had the previous condition. This forces the student to buy from the school bookstore. In other cases, a particular class may have a special textbook created for that class which is another way of forcing a student to buy from the bookstore. We at sKoolBoY understand that this is wrong and students end up spending $100-$200 more on books because of this type of sneaky way of selling books. But, imagine that amount of money you could recoup for selling your book back online at sKoolBoY and telling your friends that you are selling your book on here as well. Of course, we are not the only site that offers this, BUT, we do offer students the opportunity to sell their books on the site and get a better Return. How? You can sell your book on sKoolBoY for FREE. That means you post the item on the site without paying insertion fees. Then, when the item is sold, you only pay 4% of the selling price. Now, imagine that you bought your book for $200. Ridiculous Price! But, you were forced to buy it at the bookstore or could not find a good price online. Now, you want to sell it online because the bookstore will only give you $50 back or less depending on the condition, which is HORRIBLE! So, you decide to sell it online at sKoolBoY, let's say you sell it for $120 considering that is used but in good condition. That means you make $115.20 if you subtract 4% from $120 which is $4.80. Now, that is way BETTER than selling it back to the bookstore. You just made an extra $65 from selling it online. That is just an example of what you could make from selling it online. Most students are interested in buying their books first. So, lets say someone is selling the same book, they make be satisfied with selling it for $75 or even less than that. The more people that participate, the better your chances of making some nice pocket money to spend on Campus and the more likely you will find someone selling your book at a better price than what the bookstore is offering. Prove us wrong and be proactive in buying/selling your textbooks and other stuff online because soon most things will be handled online anyway so it always better to be ahead of the curve.
