Founders Backgrounds: Mark Kaganovich graduated Harvard in 2006 with an AB in Biochemistry and Computer Science.

Jeremy England graduated Harvard in 2003 with an AB in Biochemistry. He studied at Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship and is completing his PhD in Biophysics at Stanford.

Daniel Kaganovich graduated Harvard in 2001 with an AB in Biochemistry and completed his PhD in Cell Biology at Stanford in 2007.

Joseph Perla studied Computer Science at Princeton and was a founder of Zandigo (now Zinch), a college admissions social network, prior to founding Labmeeting.

Description
: Labmeeting is changing the way the scientific content is distributed. Our platform allows researchers to organize, search, and share their collections of papers through a web-based application freely available to academics. Since launching in the fall of 2008, thousands of researchers have built a community on Labmeeting around the concept of organizing their journal publication libraries.

Financing: Labmeeting closed a seed round with Peter Thiel (PayPal, Facebook, Founders Fund) as the lead investor early 2008. Other angel investors included Ed Kinsey (founder of Ariba) and people from Amazon, Google, and Sun.

sKoolBoY Assessment: If you are big on Science and Research, this is a great site to communicate with other researchers and share your work with others. Science is about discovery and one way to speed that up is to share information so that others may assist you and you can assist them.

We Give this site 2 Beakers UP!
